The Rapid Response Home Visiting project would like to ensure the most comprehensive and current resources are available to the home visiting field. This webpage allows users to access recorded webinars, accompanying slide decks, and additional resources complimenting the areas of home visiting that have been presented. Frequently Asked Questions and resources translated into Spanish can also be accessed.

Please note the Rapid Response project always recommends programs follow model and federal guidance when it comes to model service delivery.

Shayla designs and leads Center for Child & Family Well-Being at University of Washington’s mindfulness and compassion programs for providers working with children and youth. She also supports the implementation of mindfulness-based programs for parents.

Shayla is a certified National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI) Family 2 Family instructor and has been trained in the Finding Calm curriculum, a mindfulness and self-compassion program for new parents.

The Institute for the Advancement of Family Support Professionals

The Institute is an online suite of professional development services that embraces the research behind best practices in adult learning and immersive technology. This collaborative and cross-model approach gives all home visitors easy access to quality, competency-based learning modules.
